It’s good that the critics honor Dune with numerous first prize nominations in the technical and artisan categories. It shows how much they love the movie and it proves that it is indeed one of the best movies of this year. It’s also a good start for the film’s journey this awards season on its way to the Oscars and they should gain more recognition as more award-giving bodies unveil their nominations.
