The HiPhi Za new all-electric Coupé sedan has been spotted rolling off the assembly line at a factory in China.
First unveiled in December 2021 as the HiPhi Z concept, the Z is the second model from China’s new electric vehicle brand, Human Horizons, founded in 2019 and based in Shanghai.
HiPhi Z comes with a long bonnet, panoramic glass roof, eye-catching rear suicide doors, rear floating roof and traditional exterior mirrors rather than rear-facing cameras on the Z concept.
A photo taken of the interior shows a digital instrument cluster and a large portrait-oriented infotainment screen, rather than the horizontal display of the Z concept.
According to Car News China, the Z will be available in two versions: a 299 hp single-engine rear-wheel drive version and a 598 hp twin-engine four-wheel drive version.
It uses a 97 kWh battery, which allows a maximum range of 560 km CLTC or 500 km NEDC. The HiPhi Z is expected to hit the Chinese automotive market in the fourth quarter. It will start at 620,000 yuan (93,100 USD or 38.6 million naira).
