Actor Mrunal Thakur has been named the new face of jewelry chain PNG Jewelers’ Diwali campaign. The brand announced its association with the actor during his visit to their Thane boutique to launch two new gold and diamond jewelry collections.
Thakur is an acting powerhouse and a wonderful person, said PNG Jewelers President and CEO Saurabh Gadgil. “She represents the modern Maharashtrian woman who has a futuristic outlook shaped by her traditions and heritage. She is a perfect fit for our brand and the right person to launch these two brilliant offerings which will be available in all of our stores. people will love and appreciate our efforts for this year’s holiday season,” he added.
According to the jewelry brand, every year for the festive season, the brand creates collections that are an amalgamation of the rich history of Maharashtra as well as a reflection of the modern aesthetic of the Indian woman. These collections go beyond jewelry design itself and speak a language of the arts, traditions and contemporary pop culture of the time, he added.
“PNG Jewelers does a great job every year with their holiday collections. This year the Katha and Ina collections are absolutely beautiful. The company further stated that the “Katha” collection is a revival of jewelry styles made from 100-year-old jewelry molds. The collection consists of necklaces, earrings, bracelets, kadas, among others. The ‘Ina’ collection, on the other hand, is a new collection of diamond jewelry. It reflects the inner strength of a woman that shines by making her shine with confidence, the company pointed out.
