OVPR Announces SPARK Technology Commercialization Fund Recipients for 2022-2023

The Office of the Vice President, Research (OVPR) is pleased to announce the recipients of the SPARK Technology Commercialization Fund Program 2022-23.

Five grantees have been selected for internal funding under the program. They include researchers from UConn and UConn Health.

SPARK supports innovative proof-of-concept studies aimed at translating research findings into products, processes, and other commercial applications. The main goal of the program is to advance the inventions of elementary school teachers to the market, where they can have a positive impact on UConn, society, and Connecticut’s economy.

The 2022-23 winners competed for funding through a highly selective process. Congratulations to the following people:
