Star Trek Explorer to debut in November with exclusive Q stories
Star Trek Explorer magazine will include fiction
The first issue of Star Trek Explorer magazine hits newsstands on November 2, 2021, and while the magazine will feature a plethora of behind-the-scenes information, interviews, features and more for Star Trek fans, there is also something a little extra inside — short fictional stories. Each issue will include two new exclusive news, and subscribers will receive a bonus with the digital supplement: two additional news. And a special character will appear to launch the magazine.
In the first edition, some of the best science fiction writers come together to bring you four short fiction films themed around the thorn in the side of Admiral Jean-Luc Picard, Q. Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine screenwriters, Lisa Klink, BAFTA nominated screenwriter and New York Times bestselling author James Swallow, Una McCormak, New York Times bestselling sci-fi author who recently wrote The Autobiography of Mr. Spock, and Chris Cooper, the writer of Doctor Who and Torchwood for Official Magazines and Big Finish audio dramas, will all draw from their wealth of talent to create Continuum tales.
Star Trek Explorer magazines can be purchased individually or by subscription
Star Trek Explorer magazines will cost $ 9.99 each, or subscribers can get the quarterly magazine for just $ 29.99. Not only does the subscription include two additional short fiction films, but it includes a 16-page thematic supplement with each issue, as reported by Comic. So that’s more material and basically a free magazine for a one-year subscription.
With the release issue featuring stories revolving around Q, it’s possible that other issues will focus on iconic characters who impacted the franchise without being main characters! So there is a chance that you can get more of your favorites in a story! You can register now on Titan-Comics.com.
