Trinity Church Wall Street announces 2021-22 season
Trinity Church Wall Street has announced its 2021-22 season.
The first will be “Vigil Psalms: A Service of Prayer, Readings & Music”, conducted by Julian Wachner and featuring the Trinity Wall Street Choir.

“A time and a space to remember and heal âwill honor the victims of September 11. Among the performers are mezzo-soprano Melissa Attebury, baritone Thomas McCargar and pianist Farrah Dupoux, among others. Julian Wachner directs the performance.

Wachner will conduct the Trinity Wall Street Choir in a âHoly Eucharistâ which will feature Fauré’s âRequiemâ.

“Complies by Candlelight: Anthems for Peace and Hope âwill feature Wachner leading the Trinity Wall Street Choir.

The organization will also present âTradeâ by Emma O’Halloran as part of the Prototype Festival. The showcase will be presented in collaboration with Beth Morrison Proejcts, HERE and NOVUS NY. Julian Wachner directs.

The Trinity Wall Street Choir is teaming up with Downtown Voices for a concert conducted by Stephen Sands.

The Trinity Wall Street Choir and NOVUS NY will perform “Considering Matthew Shepard” by Craig Hella Johnson in a production directed by Elliott Forest and Rodney Caspers.

Melissa Attebury will conduct the Trinity Youth Chorus in a winter concert.

Tenor Thomas Cooley and bass Jonathan Woody will star in a performance of “St. Matthew’s Passion.” They will perform alongside the Trinity Wall Street Chorus, Trinity Youth Chorus, Saint Thomas Choir of Men and Boys, Trinity Baroque Orchestra and New York Baroque Inc, all under the musical direction of Julian Wachner.

Stephen Sands conducts the Downtown Voices, Trinity Wall Street Choir and NOVUS NY in a performance of “Spire and Shadow” by Wadsworth.

The Trinity Wall Street Choir and Bang on a Can All-Stars, conducted by Julian Wachner, will perform “Anthracite Fields” by Julia Wolfe.

The seasons end with interpretation of Britten’s War Requiem with The Choir of Trinity Wall Street, Downtown Voices, Trinity Youth Chorus and NOVUS NY, under the musical direction of Julian Wachner.
