BRISTOL Street Motors Harlow has invested over £ 600,000 to create a state-of-the-art service center, where digital sensors will start diagnosing vehicles as they arrive.
Customers arriving at the Bristol Street Motors service center on River Way, Harlow, will pass automated gates on ground sensors that will assess their tire tread, inflation and quality. The receptionists will then take the keys and transport the vehicle to the service center at 20 ramps.
The new 150 m² service center has created 24 new jobs – including two new “electro” apprentices, who will receive additional training on electric vehicles, in addition to the usual technician courses, preparing them for a career throughout the year. life in the automotive industry.
The center will specialize in servicing Vauxhall, Citroën and Peugeot, but all major brands will be supported, including electric, hybrid and ultra-low emission models.
It is part of Bristol Street Motors’ continued investment in Harlow. The Peugeot dealership, also on River Way, is being redeveloped to become a multi-franchise site, offering Vauxhall, Citroën and Peugeot sales. The works are expected to be completed in the first half of 2022.
Andrew Laudrum, Bristol Street Motors Harlow Peugeot Aftermarket General Manager, said: “This new service center is at the forefront of the industry. I am really excited about some diagnostic equipment, especially the ground sensors.
“The site provides customers with an excellent location for all aftermarket and service needs.”
Ollie Bell, Franchise Manager at Bristol Street Motors, said: “The new service center is the first part of our investment in Harlow, which will also allow us to expand and improve our existing dealership.
“I am very happy that we were able to create over 20 jobs at this site alone and look forward to welcoming more colleagues next year. “
